Rancho Santa Fe recently hosted Shelter to Soldier’s second annual benefit on July 28.The organization rescues, trains and then places dogs with post 9-11 soldiers who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
The event featured an exclusive film screening of “The Bucket List” starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman as well as a Q and A with the Executive Producer/Screenwriter, Justin Zackham.
Fundraiser proceeds help cover the cost of rescuing and training dogs who have an otherwise uncertain future. Afterwards, rescues go home with an American hero and help alleviate the symptoms of PTSD.
