From Our Corner of the Street – Concourse D’Elegance

On Saturday, April 12, Rancho Santa Fe was host to Concourse D’Elegance, an exclusive show of rare and exotic cars. The Concourse passed through Rancho Santa Fe Saturday morning and made a pit stop to view Billy and Susan Walter’s spectacular rebuilt Estate atop 9 all usable panoramic view Covenant acres at 5425 Los Mirlitos where the private meandering front driveway up to the estate with a separate private rear access gate easily accommodated the long line of some 100 exotic cars.

They ranged from the newest Ferrari and Maseratis to the 1932 Rolls Royce, 67 Phanton V, 1940 Cadillac V-16, 1936 Packard to the classic Bugatti, Rolls Royce and Bentley collector cars, not to mention the $3,000,000 Duesenberg, rare Aston Martins, an MG – all serving as testimony to Man’s continued love of the automobile.

“There’s just something captivating”, said one collector, “that holds you spell bound when you see a classic car brought back to life.”

Until next year’s Concourse, keep driving forward!
