The RSF Garden Club clubhouse is now a prime piece of available Rancho Santa Fe real estate.
Having voted against buying the clubhouse themselves, the Covenant board of RSF hopes that this “valuable community asset” will be bought by a legacy buyer who will opt to use it for the community rather than for development.
Either way, the proceeds of the 2.4 million dollar property will be used for grants for various qualifying non-profits. The community room has been benefitting such organizations since 1975 and will hopefully continue to provide a place for graduations, community events and more.
The Garden Club itself will continue to sponsor events for its members, as it has done since it was established in 1926.
